Former All SEC point guard Ronald Steele has left the Alabama baketball team due to another injury, this time plantar fasciitis. While not as talented as Randy Livingston his star crossed collegecareer has had many parallels to the former Tiger PG. Hopefully he can eventually recover and have an opportunity to have a decent pro career.

it's an injury to the heel of your foot. It's the kind of thing that once it starts to flare up, it is very tough to get under control.

That sucks for him. Hate to see that happen to young folks with so much ahead of them.

Best of luck to this very talented basketball player. Alabama will miss this guy.

Hate it for him. Followed his career since he was in HS. His HS won the state title before a sellout of 17,000 in Birmingham.Amazing crowd .You could see that in Indiana or Kentucky, but Alabama ? Guy was special.
Hopefully he can recover and play overseas. Not NBA money, but a whole lot more than regular guy money.
I guess Gottfried will plead his case that he needs one more year that he can't be judged for this.

It's called Plantar fasciitis. I had this for a year 2 years ago. I do a lot of hiking and some mountain running. It is one of the worst things that can happen to anyone who is active. I stayed away from the shots. I finally found a doctor who recommended the best foot inserts that cleared it up in 4 months. LINK Bottom line it took me a year to get over it. Now I'm 100% healed. At times I thought it would never clear up.

He needs to buy the Strausberg sock, it works wonders for that.
