They thought Johnny Jones was the next coming of Coach K when he was hired.

With that said, Stansbury is a solid coach. I wouldn't mind him replacing Cal when it comes to it. Guy can recruit.

Are you high? Stans replacing Cal? Archie Miller is on speed dial or when Brad Stevens gets bored with the NBA.

And I don't see Stans leaving WKU for LSU. LSU will be lucky to get Kermit Davis.

Stansbury would divorce Meo and give up Noah, Luke and Isaiah for the LSU job. He'd be arriving in Baton Rouge the second they press the first button on the cell phone.

My brother played for him at MSU and they are good friends. Him coming to LSU is already in the works.

Actually, we didn't. Go celebrate your OT win against Georgia to end a two-game losing streak and be quiet.

In another two months, this board will be back to normal once we're done being forced to pay attention to basketball. And then you guys can go hibernate until next January.

Does he take that giant he recruited from Chalmette with him back to BR? He also stole another top recruit from BR didn't he?

Yeah... because Kentucky is a much better job than the Boston Celtics... ...

Oh, and it's "bored" not "board" idiot.

Ah, the Kentucky fans only care about basketball smack talk.

LSU needs a new AD. And if Stans your man, then I can see LSU greatly improved quickly.

Frick off. Must be one of those jobs considering Pitino ran from the Knicks to Lexington. And yes, if Stevens gets run from the NBA, I could see him being a big target.

Getting fired and getting "board" aren't quite the same thing...

You couldn't be more wrong about this.

There's been more than 1 report out there he's been knocking down our door trying to get the job because he knew Johnny Jones was a dead man walking coming into this year. There was a report on our 247 board before this season that he was in talks with our admin about coming here. He has a lot of interest, dont know if we go in that direction but I certainly think he can recruit his arse off. He bought Kennedy a couple more years at Texas A&M with all the guys he helped bring in there.

Getting out of basketball LOI is pretty easy these days, especially if your coach leaves. He already publicly decommited from WKU even after singing his LOI.
