Tbh... When was the last time anyone was TRULY punished by the NCAA? Money, tattoos, vehicles, houses, ....abortions.. All paid for. But the only punishment is an occasional scholarship and maybe 1 post season appearance.. Big whoop.
The "NCAA" understands that their main cash cow, and to a VERY large degree, is CFB and CBB. The 24 hour news cycle attention span of the current climate we live in has allowed them to 'ride it out' and move on. I don't forsee anything happening with ole miss.. Or any other major conference team in the near future, short of team ordered murder, and even then I'm sure it will be back page news by the following Monday.
This is the 2016 world we live in.
It is what it is.

The 24 hour news cycle attention span of the current climate we live in has allowed them to 'ride it out' and move on. I don't forsee anything happening with ole miss.. Or any other major conference team in the near future, short of team ordered murder, and even then I'm sure it will be back page news by the following Monday.

So this is the second person that has come out publicly saying that they have heard directly from people involved the draft night is not going be a issue and people just can't stand it.

So Ole Hugh has gone from knowing nothing to being able to read the NCAA's mind. That is pretty impressive.

Saying Ole Miss has anwsers for the things that happened on draft night is not reading the NCAA's mind. He wasn't involved in the fact finding but things can change in about 20 days time. The response will be made public in the next day or two why not fill in the coach ahead of it.
