Rumors floating he is hiring people without CMR approval (how can that happen). Watching him during games looks like he thinks he should be in charge (wonder why LOL) CMR better keep a close eye on this dude. He seems pretty cutthroat. Of course he is from CNS tree.

I love Richt, but Pruitt wants to win at all costs and Richt doesn't. Richt was here 14 years before we finally decided to get an IPF, and that's because Pruitt (in his first year here) said it was ridiculous we didn't have one and went way out of his way to try and make it happen.
Gonna be interesting to watch this develop as a football fan. Gonna be miserable to watch develop as a UGA fan.

I support Pruitt. He's the only one that seems driven to win around that program right now. Richt needs to get out of the way

The UGA fans deserve for Pruitt to be their head coach. They seem to worship the ground he walks on. For some reason I have the feeling he would not be the HC they all think he would be.

If Smart goes to be the HC at GA next year, will Pruitt come back to Bama as DC?

I know this has been passed around a lot, but there's no way it went down as simply as this.
That narrative makes it sound like our AD was sitting around with their thumbs up their asses when Pruitt comes in and brings it to their attention that IPFs exist and that we should have one.
I'm sure he helped it come to fruition in some way, but it was just a matter of time before it happened. Everyone and their mother knew our facilities needed an upgrade.
As far as this "spat" with Richt. I hope it is overblown. I said this on the UGA board, but if Pruitt is trying to get a HC gig, acting like a brat and slinging shite at his boss and coaching staff is not the way to do it.

not all of us are so naive. I don't know if he would be good or bad at this point - he has two years of experience as a DC. All I know is that if the reports are true, he would take his new program somewhere very quickly. Either to new heights, or crashing to the ground in a spectacular fireball.

Pruitt is just a douchebag . This has nothing to with Richt losing control. If Pruitt can't land a HC job soon then he'll end up black listed from any major program because nobody will want to work with him

I really just meant that even though Richt wanted it, he was pretty passive about it from everything I've heard. Pruitt isn't passive about anything as far as I'm aware.

i wouldnt sell pruitt short as a hc. hes the son of a hs coach, worked under saban and jimbo, top shelf recruiter. dudes been in football since he was born.

There are rumors that he left FSU because Petrino type activities with students, and that he is doing the same at GAg.
