Very interesting. Harvard could have world-class athletic facilities if they wanted to.

I wonder if these ultra leftist schools would be ok with the government taxing their donations and endowments and distributing them to historically black colleges.

What?

They would probably feel the same way most predominantly white schools would feel if the majority of elite black athletes decided to attend historically black colleges instead of PWIs.

They do have a kickass boathouse. It's like rowing at Hogwarts.

"Those schools with the brightest prospects generally rely little on tuition revenue. Rather, their income streams are diverse, including philanthropic gifts, investments, research funds and, for public schools, state support."

I'm pretty sure Bevo has it's own oil field/petroleum production contract, yea they did quite well from the oil boom and they have no problem reminding you about it either. They literally do not need the b12 conf for anything other than scheduling convenience, this is a large part of the reason A&M and Mizzou are now in the SEC. They wanted to fuk everyone else over rather than do whats right and help form a conference network.

It is shared between the two schools, they get 2/3 and we get 1/3 #littlebro

Lol dude. "Ultra leftist schools?" Ask yourself why none of the top colleges are ever associated with the right. That's what should be troubling to you. Oh yeah, you have liberty college and bob jones. Please

It's a shame how Texas has so many billions of dollars, but is consistently getting murdered by SEC schools.

Really? When was the last time/place that academia wasn't inundated with leftist zealots? Most of these people have no clue of what goes on in the real world.

They're not racist, doubt if they look at race the same as you do. They actually want blacks to get a education above high school level, be productive, etc

ETA: Strage how you left out other colleges when it comes to the distribution of money. Black colleges usually gets less. I know in Missouri schools like Missouri Southern, Missouri Western, SEMO, NWMSU, UCM gets way more tax dollars than the HBCU Lincoln University. I'm sure the same goes for schools in Alabama, Miss, LA, GA, FL, etc.

9 B1G schools in the top 40 and people wonder why schools in other conferences would make the jump to the B1G

If only Notre Dame would join the B1G

I stand corrected, that is 10 schools in the B1G on that list.
