That's a famous post from an auburn fan from 247, that's been passed around Bama message boards for years. It's hard not to bust out during the occasional Reuben thread.

That was real. The family loved it at the time. Not so much anymore.

He is actually great in pass coverage and there isn't a better inside linebacker in the country.

Most complete Linebacker

Is Foster the best LB at Bama under Saban?

Let me sleep on it and get back with you.

I know everyone is gonna think I'm trolling but I really do believe Kendall Beckwith is better than Foster right now. Beckwith took a HUGE jump from last year and is playing at an elite level. He had 17 tackles and a TFL last game and makes my jaw drop almost every game. Reuben could end up being better though idk.. they're both really really good linebackers.

Yeah that was super coverage...

He put his arm up and missed a ball that was thrown directly at him and 2 yards behind the receiver

Foster has been playing at an elite level for two years now.

Foster is better than Beckwith.

I'm being dead serious when I say it.

Reuben is a head hunter and lays the lumber. But Kendell is a better overall linebacker.

Neat, so has Kendell.

And no, Foster is not better

I was responding to the other lsu fan that implied that he wasn't playing at an elite level last year.

What makes Beckwith better?

EXACTLY this. I would rather be hit by Beckwith, but Beckwith is a better overall LB./ more versatile, more instinctive, and can cover more of the field.

Foster will knock your fricking block off though. would love to see him in a cowboy uni assuming he's around at the 20th or so pick

Completely agree. Reuben is without a doubt the hardest hitting linebacker Saban has had at UA

Beckwith is a good player, but not the same caliber of player as Foster. It's not close. Foster has the makings of an all-time great. Beckwith is just not in that realm.

In their careers:

Kendell Beckwith: 6'2" 254lbs
- 206 total tackles (104 solo, 102 assisted)
- 21 tackles for loss
- 6.5 sacks
- 5 pass deflections
- 3 forced fumbles
- 2 fumbles recovered
- 1 interception

Reuben Foster: 6'1" 236lbs
- 133 tackles (79 solo, 54 assisted)
- 12.5 tackles for loss
- 2.5 sacks
- 8 pass deflections
- 0 interceptions
- 0 forces fumbles
- 0 fumbles recovered

*Those are stats from the last 3 years. (Kendell played on the DL in 2013 so I just threw those numbers out)*

- Kendell also didn't get the full time starter job until about halfway through his sophomore season, so the playing time is pretty close to even.

Size = Kendell
Tackles = Kendell
Sacks = Kendell
TFL = Kendell
Turnovers = Kendell
Deflections = Reuben

Kendell Beckwith is a really, really, really good player.
