Im laughing because LSU fans just think its as simple as breaking out the checkbook...this is going to have huge ramifications for their program and its hilarious to me.

My actual take:
It was probably time for Miles to go. Not sure if doing it mid-season makes any sense. Getting rid of a solid coach and great guy like Les is always a 50-50 proposition. There is a chance you'll miss your top coaching targets. There is a chance your top coaching target won't work out and you'll be looking again in a couple seasons.
In other words, I understand why LSU fans are excited to see where this takes them
On the other hand, watching their dumber fans craft a narrative about how we're all afraid of what they'll do next is hilarious. What I just watched them do is lose to a team who can't score a touchdown and then proceed to fire the best coach in their history. So not really feeling the fear at this point.

Apathy and laughing at their usual arrogance go hand in hand.
No one in the SEC sees them as much of a threat.

I am not laughing at LSU for firing Miles. He should have gotten a replace Cam or go ultimatum last year.
I am laughing at the LSU fans that just assume they will get any single candidate, or that the next hire will guaranteed be better because in their view Deeznutz could win the SEC with Louisiana-based talent that has never gone out of state ever in history.
