There are some links between the 2 throughout history. Bryant and Stallings both coached there before coming to Bama and winning NCs. We gave them Fran in exchange.

It is interesting.
They hate Texas so much. Yet they dick-ride the Texas of the SEC.
I think they are confused as to their sexuality and that leads to uncertainty in other aspects of their lives.

I think that it goes back to when they beat Bama with Manziel. It was the biggest thing that happened to Aggy in a while, and a great game by the way, and I think they started building up Bama as they imagined they could ride their coattails.

They are used to being UT's whipping post.
They join the conference and hand Bama their only loss on the way to a Bama national title in 2012. Bama gives them props and they receive the superior approval they crave.
