I understand why Les would want to come back to the SEC but Ole Miss will be a dumpster fire whether he coaches there or not.

He's too good for them.

CLM is presently making $175K a mth & will do so for several more yrs. At his age, why would he want to bust his balls to win, mabe 6-7 games a year?

He practically begged for any job that opened last year.

Les is dumb, but he isn't that dumb.

Walk into a dumpster fire in the most stressful division in the country while it's also on probation.

OR

Sit around collecting checks stress free from LSU.

Doesn't his contract say that for him to receive his buyout he has to actively pursue a coaching job. No way he is interested. Just doing enough to receive his paycheck.

If he truly loves coaching and feels like he doesn't need the extra money from LSU I don't see why he wouldn't take the Ole Miss job.

If Les really wants to coach, Ole Miss is a great job for him.

Literally ZERO expectations for the next 2-4 years. And if he ever does get them to like an 8-4 record, that would be more than enough in Oxford.

Awesome little town too. He'd have it made there.

CLM without the facilities, money, and recruiting base would be exposed.

I know Mississippi has great recruiting grounds but they also have 2 major programs competing for that talent not to mention all the other SEC teams recruiting the state.

Les takes the job and runs a wide open spread offense and beats LSU in the process. I'm an LSU fan but it would almost be worth it just to read the rant afterwards.

Kinda find this hard to believe. Les is too good for this situation.

Agree but it would be good for the SEC. Les is a genuinely good man, seems to play basically within the rules and, most of all, I miss his stupid comments. Media days are just not the same without him.

How awesome would it be to see Miles take the job, instal the spread and put up 40 points per game?

I believe whatever salary he gets LSU would still pay the balance to meet the buyout.

Don't be the guy who gets jealous when the girl he broke up with is rumored to be eyeing someone.
