I'm personally glad the play worked out the way it did.
Gives all, and frick it I mean ALL, LSU fans a way to channel their inborn need to bitch about refs all in just one instance.

That was a terrible call and the Gator that threw the "punch" should have been ejected. We had some questionable calls in our game also. Bad officiating everywhere.

Not to mention them missing the LSU offsides. Officiating is just bad in the SEC no conspiracy required.

What's just so weird to me is that they will stop play all the time to review pretty clear calls yet will somehow completely miss pretty clear incorrect calls and not even review them. The slap was bad. It looks like the ref was standing right there. I don't see how the Florida player didn't get ejected for the slap. I was always under the impression that was an automatic ejection.

Yep it was amazing what Alabama got away with Saturday... 500 miles away from home or Starkville and still the refs couldn’t see it....
