Ref gave LSU that strike by tigerdup07
since the camera angle is about 10 feet to the right of the pitcher.......all you have to do is imagine this camera moving slowly 10 feet to the left and get directly behind the pitcher. what happens? yep.....you guessed it......the catcher's mit moves to the right little by little as you move to the left.
STRIKE!!!!!
Very good point. That's right, the camera angle to the right of the pitcher makes it seem like it was out of the strike zone.

Would be pretty easy to see if the mitt is outside of the catcher's shoulders or shin guards. I did not see this pitch, is there a picture of it?

Yes there is. But currently it is being forwarded to the F.B.I. for further investigation.

Just send it to Birmingham, we will look into it and report back.

What's the deal with all of his horrendous Ole Miss trolling then? Black Bears and tJars have no beef with each other.

To argue a close strike/ball in baseball is the dumbest thing a person can do in sports. There are likely 15-20 missed calls with balls and strikes in a game. That is why you swing at close pitches with 2 strikes
ETA: And to be honest, I am not even sure if that last pitch wasnt an actual strike.

Nobody likes to comment on this haha. This is the exact moment scivique closed his glove on the ball. Hasnt even framed it yet.

Oh wow, just watched the vine clip and the catcher grabs it outside shin guard and snatches it back to the guard (snatch is usually dead giveaway). Just leave your seat and never speak of this again.

the kid should have realized with the way the ump was calling the game that he was going to have to try and foul off anything that was any kind of close.

Painting the black is a strike every day of the week. Pitchers pitch which seems foreign to some people. It's obvious that alot of people dont follow baseball or understand it really.

Go to the other thread and watch the clip. Two things, batter takes off for first, blue rings him up. Not usually what you see on "first pitch".

I don't know why it's even being discussed still. Don't y'all have anything better to do on a Friday? He should have swung the bat in that situation. End of story.

How much of the mound can you see in that picture? Stare real hard.
