recruiting to bamas level

On more than one occasion coach EdO has said to beat bama one must recruit to their level. Well let me just say LSU is getting there.
Over the last two recruiting cycles ('16 and '17) tigers have out recruited the tide on the defensive side of the ball.
DL is close but, LSU has a slight advantage due to overall numbers.
LB goes to tide of course because of three 5*s signed. Tigers not that far behind with six solid 4* recruits.
DB is all tigers. Not even close. saban hasn't signed a single 5* DB over the last two years.
Tigers could make up ground on the offensive side of the ball if they could only get a couple of those all world LTs that saban seems to sign every year.

UGA held the off-season title for a while today. LSU has surged back into the lead. This one is far from over though.

Youre not going to recruit like Bama. All you can do is out coach them (Clemson) or wait for Saban to leave and they drop to your level. Coach O aint out coaching anyone so youre waiting another year or two for Saban to ride out.

If Ole Miss had been left unchecked, I think they would have gotten close but unless they won a title they still wouldn't get to that level

We just brought in two highly ranked QBs in this last class. Tigers have brought in many 4* QB over the last ten years or so. The problem has been developing them. Hopefully Canada can take care of that problem.
