Seems like every state has areas that have consistent talent coming out of high school. In Alabama, Mobile, Birmingham and Dothan and Prattville almost always have quality D1 talent.

What recruiting hotbeds exist in other states?

Dothan

Very rarely if ever has many major prospects. Name the last good college football player from Dothan?

Nashville (most of middle TN really) Memphis and the Chattanooga area. Atlanta, South Carolina, North Carolina and Virginia out of state.

Knoxville high school football sucks.

I think the OP wants you to list hotbed recruiting areas for your school, not bama's.

New Orleans/River Parishes. Not all make it to a top 10 school but a ton make it to other D1 teams like Arizona State, Cal, Utah, arkansas, etc...

DFW and Houston due to sheer population. East Texas from Longview to Beaumont/Port Arthur/Orange pump out quite a few too. Not much comes from anywhere south of San Antonio. Mostly IBM's down there.
