Hey bud, if you like posting on OM threads so much why don't you change your little fan icon to the right of your name to Ole Miss? Join the winning side and become one of us. Did our team look soft when we were pounding dawg pussy into the turf every run in the second half of last years eggbowl? Keep Grindin'

Any team with above avg OL and average RB will be able to line up and run it up the middle every single play. Same as every year vs OM. Idk why every team doesn't do this. Bama and LSU especially. You'd never lose. Sure, sometimes you'll have to punt. That's fine because OM cannot drive the field consistently. They rely on turnovers, a short field and then a quick score. They're good at that. It's they're game. Line up, punch them in the mouth. They're very soft as usual. They will wear down, get frustrated and give every game away. Physically soft and mentally soft. Its characteristic picked up from their coaching staff. Starting with the head coach. It's even characteristic of the administration and fan base. Very weak minded, soft all the way around.

Man it must suck to be a state fan

I think it will be the key to the game for OM. I'll be rooting for y'all. I'd like to see the SEC beat FSU, UNC, and Clemson but I don't like Auburn's chances. I'll take 2/3 if I have to.

Because the poster is obviously a better football coach than Saban, Miles, and Mullen.

We need Haynes to have a great game. He is so fast and runs down every running back I have seen him go against.

Derrick Henry got 127 yards on 25 carries. Not exactly destruction of the interior defense Bulldog.

Think you can stop/limit Dalvin Cook? Serious question.
Zero chance. Cook is a top tier Rb

I really like Speaks. Seems like a good guy. Hope he does well, as do other players I like across the SEC. Until they play us, of course.

If Brown can't go, we are hurting. Speaks, a DT, cannot do the running to last long at DE. Another DT just sat out with a concussion. Conner is only 90%. A LB just arrived a few weeks ago. Will he be ready. We are starting a frosh and a soph to replace 2 run-stopping seniors.

The dancing Kimdeechees are gone.

We only win by a TD.

Thank god Denzel is gone though. Gates is a huge upgrade there.

Didn't you guys lose 7 players on defense last year? A lot of talent lost up front. I don't know much about Ole Miss, but I'm seeing that you guys lost 5 good players in the front 7.

Not trolling, I expect you guys to be good. Just wondering who the replacements will be and if Ole Miss can be ranked in the top 25 in rush defense

I feel extremely confident in our D Line. We have recruited extremely well there. DJ Jones, Issac Gross (Hurt all last year) and Breeland Speaks are all above average players at DT.

Haynes is a top 3 rush end in the league. Fadol Brown is going to hurt if he can't go and misses the Bama game (Looking more likely by the day).

We have 2 young LBs that the coaches are raving about in Gates and Caldwell. Mageoo was the leading tackler on Oregon ST. last year in as a grad transfer.

Add to that a 90% Tony Connor who is as good as anyone in the conference when healthy. Our defense struggled when he was out last year.

Overall, if we don't get pushed around at end and our LBs don't miss tackles we will be pretty good against the run. Not a brick wall but good enough to not let big backs run crazy on us.

Remember him having a good game vs AU. Pretty good player. Did not know he had 10 sacks last year.

Ole Miss will probably be one of the worst in the country when it comes to stopping the run this year. I've heard from multiple sources close to the team that it's their biggest concern. Like South of Here said earlier, I would put your mortgage on Cook and FSU to nuke the Ole Miss defense..
