Reasons Why SEC Baseball > SEC Football

I think it is far more enjoyable to follow for various reasons included by not limited to:
*Less over-saturation. Football (including the NFL especially) seems like they will never let it be "off-season." Always "needs" to be in the spotlight. Typically some off-the-field situation non related to football or sports.
*More mutual respect and appreciation for the game among the fans.
*Football from Day One (again over-saturation) it's all about the Hypesman Trophy whose gonna win it and shite--don't hear "whose gonna win the Golden Spikes award all freaking season long)
*4, sometimes 5 games per week, more time spent actually WATCHING SPORTS instead of just talking about them. If you lose, it's not the end of the world unlike football.
*No Finebaum or the type people that listen and call in in baseball. Again, typically not talking about actual sports.
*Everything isn't based off hate and contempt. I can watch Auburn play Florida in baseball and I'm just enjoying watching two teams of amateur student-athletes and appreciating their work. I don't want the Auburn players to die unlike in football and players like Junior Rosegreen, Zac Ethridge, Darren Bates.
*There is a sheer fraction of the discussion, attention and resources devoted to baseball, and that is part of what makes it great. People that do talk about it, are actually talking about the sport and not some off the field situation.
E!SPN has helped ruin sports and society, but thankfully they have never given college baseball enough attention to ruin it.

College baseball is a far inferior product

You're like the old Al Bundy. Just one long, drawn out and elaborate troll of the board.

I do enjoy that there is less vitriol spewed over baseball than football. People get a little too crazy over football for me.
There is basically no parity in college football. You could pick 10 teams right now that could make the playoffs and you will cover the 4 that will make it.
That being said, SEC baseball just isn't as enjoyable because people do not care about it. It's fun to watch college football at a bar.

I am serious. And don't call me Shirley.
SEC Baseball is awesome. Opposing fans are great. Eliminates the Harvey Updykes of the world. No fanblogs or Phil Steele or Finebaum bullshite. It's great.

Nice post Tom. Classy too.
Interesting points not too many people probably thought of, but you're right.

And should have swept LSU.

Agree.
Most don't because they enjoy the "pageantry" and overall experience of football moreso. 98% of the people watching a college football game have no real idea what's going on, myself included. The 2% are former players and coaches and some other random people that truly know football.
Pitcher throws a slider for a strike...pretty straightforward.
QB throws an INT---many times you don't know if he made the wrong read, the WR broke off his route, or the defense just made a great play.
The best example of this is "busted coverage" when the average Joe just assumed the guy that closest to the WR is who messed up.

I agree, actually.
his entire post should be ignored considering he led off with a negative about football being "no offseason" and not realizing that baseball plays got damn near 200 games a year.

We had better things to look forward to than playing y'all. We didn't want to be there and we gave you the series. You're welcome

I absolutely love college baseball, but you've got to be kidding me. College football is the best sport in America IMO

Yeah games suck.
Need more coverage of the Draft, combine, OTAs and some douche on Sportscenter talking about Johnny Manziel and less actual games.

No it's really about who's making the playoffs and winning it all.
