Re-watched the Alabama- Florida St. game and Florida St looks like the better team.

Alabama got the benefit of some awful calls and no-calls. I understand that Alabama plays by a different set of rules than everyone else, but it was particularly bad in this game.

The offense didn't look great, that's for sure.

I wonder how much they'll miss Lane?

No, they didn't. They did go toe-to-toe with Bama for a while, and they looked like a potential ACC champ/Playoff team.

Without Francois they're a 3-4 loss team so it's moot.

i watched the game for the first time yesterday bama wasn't as dominant as everyone made them out to be. that o line is swiss cheese, no one outside of Ridley scares me catching the ball and that secondary is a joke.

The thing bama has more than any other team is big stage experience. florida state played like a team that wasn't ready to play in front of the big state in prime time. and their o line is horrible.

FSU's QB being taken out didn't help matters either as they were building momentum for a comeback.

Florida St. could not run the ball at all.

No one will beat a Bama this year due to officiating.

Did you see the part where FSU turned it over 3 straight times? I'd say that had a hell of alot more to do with the final outcome than anything else in the game.

Alabama deserved that win, but they are not as good as some are making them out to be based on it.

FSU has a horrid OL and made mistake after mistake to allow Bama to take control. Honestly, Bama earned the block punt, but after that the fumble on the kickoff was entirely on FSU.

All that said, they are still the team to beat in the SEC and maybe the country, but they aren't as far ahead as others say. Similar to LSU, as BYU is simply not a good team and wore down easily. Both will improve as will Auburn, but it's clearly at best a 3 team race in the SEC between those three.
