IDK why you have a gap between Bowden and Meyer. Meyer is #3 at worst.

It's at least justifiable to stop the blanks between Fulmer and Coker at about 15 blanks, maybe 20 blanks at the most. There should be at least 200 blanks between Chizik and everybody else but it would take up the whole page if I did that.

Maybe I shouldn't-idk. Maybe I'm just mad about Meyer's departure and I'm subconsciously taking that that out on his ranking. But one thing that's impressive about Bowden is FSU was something like 3-30 in the 3 years before he arrived, and FSU had no football tradition or history. FSU had football for only about 30 years before Bowden. By 1988 he began the 13(14?) year run in which they were in the top 4-5 every year.

Bowden pre 2001 is very different from Bowden that year on.

Pretty good list except there should be a few more blanks between Fulmer and Coker. Coker is still far better than Chizik though.

You forgot to put Tressel on the list at all. Maybe that's justifiable, since referee Terry Porter really won that NC not Jim Tressel.

Stoops over fisher and miles probably, and you forgot Tressel who is a better coach than everybody on that list but saban.

Added Tressel at no.5. Not sure why I forgot him.

So you know Miles whooped Tressel for the Natty in 2007. Miles should be higher than him.

I did not want Miles fired at all. Definitely are some LSU posters who do though. But those guys always want to fire LSU's coach whoever they are, and whatever their record/hardware. I would not be surprised to see posts from those people stating they wanted Saban fired back when he was LSU's coach.

And Tressel whooped Miles in the 2004 Alamo Bowl too. I mean those are both 1 off games.

I'm a Miles guy, so I don't mind if you put him near/above Tressel at all. Tressel was a hell of a coach too

I'd say Tressel was better. Had a better record (especially if you count the 12 or 13 wins in 2010 that were forfeited) and inherited a much worse situation than Miles did. John Cooper was a mediocre at best coach especially his last few seasons at OSU.

If we're just sticking to BCS and CFP titles then Carroll shouldn't be included.

They didn't have to forfeit the 2003 or 2004 national title. Their win forfeits came in 2005 when they didn't actually win the national title.

It's pretty obvious USC got hosed with their sanctions anyway. Especially when you consider what far worse offenders such as Auburn football, Miami football and UNC basketball got. Which was absolutely nothing.
