1. Kentucky
2. Vanderbilt
3. Texas A&M
4. Florida
5. South Carolina
6. Auburn
7. LSU
8. Alabama
9. Georgia
10. Ole Miss
11. Tennessee
12. Arkansas
13. Mississippi State
14. Mizzou
So much basketball to be played but I think 9-14 will stay at the bottom all season with 4-8 rotating and 1-3 possibly changing around as the season progresses.

Kind of falls into the "accomplishment" vs "potential/talent" debate like in football.
LSU is super talented but their resume is probably the worst in the league at the moment other than maybe MSU.

Bama too low, we've beat Notre Dame and Wichita state.

You seriously have LSU that high?

I would flip A&M and Vanderbilt based purely upon quality wins.
Vanderbilt's best win is Wake Forest (RPI 74). Their one loss is Kansas (RPI 53)
A&M's best wins are Gonzaga (RPI 70), Texas (RPI 44), and A&M-Corpus (RPI 71). Their one loss is Syracuse (RPI 16)

RPI is kinda worthless at this point, though.
Valpo has the top RPI per ESPN

Can't go based on RPI right now. If that were the case, Florida would be ranked very high. RPI doesn't matter to me until the last 3rd of the season.

This is so depressing because LSU is top 10-15 nationally in talent probably and has maybe the 127th ranked coach as far as X and O's go.

South Carolina has faced a bunch of nobodies so far and your OOC as a whole just sucks. I'm delaying my judgment on them for now really.

You still can't argue that Vanderbilt has more quality wins than A&M at this point.
Vanderbilt plays Texas as well this year, so we'll see a more accurate comparison while A&M still plays Baylor and Iowa State nonconference.

I watched a little bit of the North Florida game and the transition defense is going to have to get better if they want to be up there with Kentucky, Vandy, and A&M. And pray Simmons doesn't go down or get into foul trouble early.

Man there are going to be come great match-ups in the SEC this year. Years past, it was usually down to Florida and UK, then occasionally you could throw Vandy in there. By no means am I an SEC homer, but frick, there is some serious potential here in a few years.

Vandy looks like the most complete team in conference at this point, tons of quality wins or not.

Our strength of schedule isn't as hard as y'all's, sure, but our RPI is on 1 ranking away.

RPI doesn't mean shite right now.

In terms of mid-majors, we've faced some somewhat-somebodies.
