If we are going to rank the programs historically, let's do it right, which means leaving out A&M and Mizzou.

The criteria I used was more in depth than the previous thread.

NCAA Tourney appearance- 1 point
Regional Champions- 2 points
CWS appearance- 5 points
NCS appearance- 5 points
NCS winner- 5 points
SEC regular season champs- 3 points
SEC tourney champs- 1 point

Here is how it broke down:

1. LSU- 275 points

2. USC- 170 points
3. MSU- 167 points
4. UF- 162 points

5. Bama- 119 points
6. Arkansas- 106 points

7. UGA- 92 points
8. Ole Miss- 83 points
9. Vandy- 77 points

10. Auburn- 68 points
11. UT- 56 points

12. Kentucky- 11 points

To be 2nd considering we were an expansion team is pretty damn good imo.

Why would winning the whole thing be worth the same points as just making an appearance?

Because MSST hasn't won the whole thing and he is a MSST fan. Also gave the same amount of points fot making the championship series, which what do you know, MSST has done.

I understand why Ole Miss ranks at the bottom half of the league historically. Not enough CWS appearances. I will say that since 2000 (so 16 1/2 years) Ole Miss has been one of the more consistent programs in the conference, during the regular season at least.

Only a MSST fan would need to rig a scoring system to put themselves in 3RD PLACE

Surely you can see that making an appearance is worth 8 points and winning it all is worth 18 points... math is hard, I know.

I'll be damned. All this time I thought winning 2 National Championships was a huge accomplishment, turns out just making it to Omaha was just as big.

The poster has to do something to attempt to make his Bulldogs feel relevant.

Their program has only won 1 conference championship since 1989 and that came in 2016.

how the hell do you justify leaving A&M & Mizzou out of your calculations as correctly? might as well leave USCe & Arkansas out of your calculations too then. Historically.....
