South Carolina is a historically .500 team. Including yearly cupcakes. And this is with these last couple years of out of the world success.

South Carolina is not a top tier job. Not even close in fact. Only reason I give any points is because they are willing to throw big dollars around for hope

Do you truly believe that having Bama alum Dabo as your head coach gives you Bama worthy membership status around here?

Your mother is, historically, a hooer ... that includes the nine months prior to her giving birth to you. And this is with these last couple of years out of the world freebies she's been giving.

You're a fricktard ... it's not even close in fact. (sic) Only reason I give you any points is because you give me this opportunity to publicly call you out on your fricktardedness.

Your punctuation and grammar, in general, outs you as a Bama dick riding sheep humper of a taterhead.

Answer me this.

What do all dick riding sheep humping taterheads seem to wish they were Bama fans? Because of Ford and Dabo?

Ford couldn't win in the SEC and we all know that neither would Dabo.

Bottom line, the true final nail in the coffin for Miami was joining the ACC. Clearly they could no longer function as a football independent and by 2004 they were forced to join the ACC ... it illustrated a weakness in their model and subsequently doomed them to become a basketball school.

They were in the Big East for years prior to joining the ACC, with VA Tech and BC

You're right ... 13 years I think, to be exact. But they lost money the entire time. It was not a profitable football relationship and that has been well documented.

The Big East, it could be said, set them on the path towards their trend towards becoming a basketball school. Another tell tale indicator of their subsequent decline and current status.

The Big East was doomed from the beginning when they couldn't get Penn State and Notre Dame on board. Every program other than Virginia Tech came out far worse than when they went in

The right coach and an administration that is committed can put them back on the map. Not saying they have either but they've conciously moved away from local kids to change the culture. If they targeted those players they could land a lot of them and be on the way up.

You are 3-9

Right back to your status before your best coach ever quit on your program.

Good luck on that hire

Miami is better than Scar and Mizzou. Recruiting and history trump no history and no recruiting

Maryland is better than Mizzou. More money trumps less money

1) USC
2) UGA
3) da U
4) Scar
5) Maryland
6) Mizzou

Wrong.

The U has terrible facilities and a stadium that isn't even on the campus. It's recruiting ground is great, but it's not a football legend anymore. Recruits these days don't give a shite if you won a NC 15 years ago, they care about their chances to go to the NFL.

Mizzou has been putting guys in the NFL left and right for the last 10 years, to say otherwise makes you an asshat. Mizzou is in the SEC East and a coach who can win the SEC East gets to go to what is considered the marquee Championship game.

But yea, let's ignore all the first round picks and SEC East titles of recent memory in place of a shite hole college that has no hope of competing in the fricking ACC, the worst of the P5 conferences.

Mizzou and USC are very similar programs and should be ranked closely. Maryland plays OSU, Mich, Mich St, and Penn St every year, what coach thinks he's going to go to Maryland and succeed? Money buys you a few things sure, but to say that Maryland is a better job than Mizzou is ridiculous.

Ranking the 15 college head-coaching vacancies

This is Senior Day. No body gives a shite about that program. Anyone who thinks, "well tradition" matters is absurd. If you can believe it, the incoming freshman in their next coach's 3rd year or so wouldn't have even born the last time they won a title.

The Univ of New Jawsey @ Coral Gables was dead in 2000, the team was awesome in 2000-2003 but unless they played UF, the Florida State College for Women or a team that brought their own fans...they would always have small crowds even in the old Orange Bowl. You had to pack heat if you were walking around the old Orange Bowl. Bad bad scene.

They should be down further on this list. The Canes are not a state school...they are broke and anyone who takes job should cash checks immediately. Honestly they do not have funds to hire an elite coach...no real fan base and the few they have are greasy slimey bastards from NY,NJ or CT. Imagine the impact that recruits have when visiting for games...having to travel by bus to pro stadium 45 minutes from campus. Everything at the stadium screams Miami Dolphins.

I don't see how anybody could put Miami ahead of Missouri and South Carolina on this ranking.

The list is probably correct but I would drop GA based on the stupidity of firing Richt. Sorry Dawg fans but IMO this was dumb as shite.

Yep. UGA firing Richt could not come at a worse time for South Carolina. And Mizzou.
