He was talking about how Clemson was great because it is relatively close to Greenville SC. Lol

Seriously. Greenville fricking South Carolina.

If you want to do something, see a concert, go out, eat at a top notch restaurant you can just drive to Greenville. Lol

Greenville fricking South Carolina. Hahahahaha........this was his argument

i never said that at all. I said if a student attending Clemson wanted to go to a bigger city, Greenville is right up the road.

I think most people would take Greenville over Knoxville, a very ugly old looking town. It blows Knoxville away. Falls Park around a 30 foot drop waterfall right off Main Street in downtown Greenville has been ranked a top 10 park in the country.

if you have friends in college, you typically don't need to drive to other city for something to do. doesn't make much sense that a student living around 22,000 other young people needs to drive to a big city 45 min away for something to do.

i don' thtink students who want a big city environment are going to end up at Clemson.

Clemson does have bars and restaurants, and Anderson is only 10 minutes away with more.

This must be one of the worst lists of this kind I've ever seen.

CheatSheet is "a lifestyle" website. I've seen others done by more reputable entities and they look different.

The one posted by the LSU fan is more accurate. I agree with Alabama guy who said it got the top 8 right. Ordering them is the question.

Yes SEC fans know they have the elephant of college football.

What they forget is that it's the only blue blood in the conference.

All those words just to say our town sucks, but there's a slightly better one 45 minutes away

CLemson doesn't suck. it is one of the highest out of state tuitions for a public university because people like the campus.

you probably didn't have any friends in college so you probably were hanging out at the mall in Knoxville.

let's say Clemson was near Knoxville.

why would college students do in Knoxville that they can't do in Clemson? they can go to bars in Clemson. do you think Clemson doesn't have bars? they can see a movie on campus at the campus movie theater or go to Seneca or anderson 10 minutes away.

so i assume you are talking about a mall. that's your big 'thing to do', go to a mall.

I watched him in person at Auburn games when I was a kid so yeah I know who he might be. I figured this idiot must be 18 years old to think Auburn had only 2 HT's.

you are debating strawmen. i never one time said that the good thing about going to Clemson is it 45 minutes from Greenville. your average CU student does not spend much time in Greenville.

i think inventing arguments and then debating those made up arguments is stupid.

you still haven't explained what is so exciting about Knoxville. there would be basically nothing going on downtown knoxville without the university.

Tom Osborne retiring basically shut the book on Nebraska. Yes, the Eric Crouch years were decent and he won a Heisman, but that was a one hit wonder in the post-Osborne era.

If only we had that murderers row appartment complex, hood robbing trailer parks and burning trees we'd be right up there with the plains.
