Still waiting on your ten year resume'.

USC finished #3 this year. All-timers held six of the final top ten spots so your claim is 40% accurate. How is that bright eyes?

Clemson has won 10 or more games the past 6 seasons homey. 4 of those seasons were 11 wins or more.

clemson was a top 10 program in the 80s, and won a natty.

my point is wut is the point of calling a program a blueblood if it has bad and mediocre seasons.

i can understand calling Duke and UNC and Kentucky bluebloods in basketball b/c they basically never have a bad season but these programs in football have not had tha tkind of consistency.

The backpedaling is unbecoming honey. You've danced around every response to your unfounded post and now you pretend to never having made said claim? Not surprised.

Nice upvote to your own post by the way.

That wasn't it at all. Go back and reread your post. These programs are not claiming blueblood status, it is opinion and media bestowing it. Hard to argue with facts though. Who would be your top five blueblood? Don't want to make it too hard on you.

Tillman do you really not get it or are you trolling? Clemson IS NOT a blue-blood program... Yes you guys are the champs and put together a couple of nice seasons but pump the breaks man!! Tennessee is a better all-time program than you even though they are down right now..

i never described Clemson as a 'blue blood program'. i'm mocking the use of the expression by any program. you have to be stuck on stupid.

what these programs do is talk up their winning seasons and ignore their losing seasons. they not blue bloods in losing and average seasons.

my point is the blue blood thing is a marketing gimmick for recruits.

You sound like an LSU fan. Selecting a specific era that makes your team look better than others. Completely disregarding all the big seasons that don't fit your precious timeframe.

"All time" does NOT mean clempson. Sry.

you guys love to talk about bama being a blue blood but that didn't stop Clemson from beating Bama this year did it?

winning national titles in the past doesn't guarantee you win one this season or future seasons.

i never described Clemson as a 'blueblood' but you are too dumb to actually read what I write. you just want to get straight to fanboying for your redneck program that's had a ton of games and seasons vacated over the years.

you and auburn are bluebloods of cheating no question. lol

This list was compiled by someone who doesn't know their facts. It credits only Howard Schnellenberger with Miami's 80's dynasty without mentioning Jimmy Johnson or Dennis Erickson and refers to Butch Davis as Butch Jones.

Bama has only two Heisman winners, not three.

While lists like these are subjective, Bama, USC, OU, ND, tOSU, Michigan are inarguably top six in no particular order. Florida, FSU, and Miami could easily be swapped around for LSU, Penn State, and Tennessee.

For the resident Clemson idiot known as Tillman, while you are deservedly the current champions and probably Top 25 all time, all the aforementioned as well as Auburn and Georgia rank above you on any credible all time list of greatest programs.

another Alabama hick who is missing my point. Football is only graded on a season by season basis. you don't get a trophy for more national titles.

the only blueblood is the team that wins it all at the end of a season. if you end the season 6-6, doesn't make much sense to talk about your program is a blue blood b/c it some sone natties in years past.

Bama is a blueblood and will contend again shortly.

You want to use criteria that fits Johnny come latelys, that have no history amounting to much. If you were a fan of a history laden program, you would understand how significant it is for programs having continued success.

had a ton of games and seasons vacated over the years.

lol do you alabama fans have any hobbies outside of alabama football. it is your ego all tied in to bama being called a blueblood. it didn't win any titles b/t 1992 and 2009.

You sound like an LSU fan who believes college football began in the year 2000. Only in Clemson's case, I guess it was around 2010 before your team was able to sustain relevance for any period of time since the early to mid 80's.

all i know is little old clemson just beat the self described blue blood. lol those natties that Bear Bryant won (when football was less competitive) didn't help bama.

i'll give you a trophy for past success if that's what you want lol. i rather win a natty this season.
