my point it is silly to talk about best programs of all time if most of the list are programs that have been struggling the last 10 years or so.
i also think the heisman criteria is dumb too. Watson deserved Heisman last two years but didn't get it.

Why rank 11 teams beside the obvious reason to make sure Florida is on the list, although they should maybe make a Top 20 team list

You do understand what "All Time" means, right? It doesn't mean last 10 years. It means, like, forever.

it is crazy that programs considered best all t ime are struggling so much in recent years thouhgh.
my point is sports is about right now. once there became more competitive programs in sports, all these 'best of all time' programs started to struggle.

Struggle? Speak for yourself.

you think Clemson has been struggling in recent years? lol

The blue bloods are the top 8. They got that right

By comparison, and solely based on YOUR post - yes. Even though that's not where I was initially going.
Since you introduced it, breakdown those last ten years that would make you "all-time" worthy.

my point, which you seem dedicated to missing, is these programs are bluebloods, why have many of them been struggling? USC, texas, michigan, tenn, nebraska, miami, etc have struggled in recent years despite high dollar coaches.
what is the point of calling your program a blueblood if it still struggles at times and a program not considered blueblood is winning a natty.
the truth is what happened in the past does not predict the present and future success of a program.

Except "all these" does not equate to many. USC has won a title, OSU won one and made playoffs this year, ND played for a title. Who are these many you speak of?

And it looks like Notre Dame, Michigan, Ohio State and USC did some Alabama math in the last few years
Auburn Just Gave Itself Three More National Championships
As of today, Auburn athletics' official website now claims three additional national titles, to go along with the two they actually won.
"The NCAA recognizes Auburn as National Champions in 2010, 1993, 1983, 1957 and 1913.
This is especially funny because the NCAA itself doesn't crown, select, or recognize national champions from Division IA/FBS."

USC won that title in 2005. it is now 2017. what have they done since. it is difficult to believe you are awake.
ND isn't in the title conversation most seasons and the year they made it to the title game, they got crushed on both sides of the ball.

It says we have 3 Heisman winners, when we only have 2.
The Jets knew better. They signed both Joe Namath and John Hurate. They gave Namath a $400K signing bonus and gave Hurate $200k. Did Hurate ever even play!?
