Tennessee vs Virginia Tech (at Bristol)- Gonna be a slaughter unless Virginia's D can slow down the running backs.

LSU vs Wisconsin (at Lambeau)- Last years score was 28-24. LSU has alot more momentum this year in the offseason. It'll be the Tigers vs the hype and the crowd. Great place to play some football!

Alabama vs USC (at Arlington)- Can not wait for this one! USC get's closer every year and Bama is breaking in a lot of new pieces on offense. Don't pretend USC doesn't have talent all over the field though. Still, you can't vote against Alabama, ever.

Georgia vs North Carolina- NC won the ACC Coastal Championship. Georgia has the talent to get some wins even with a first year coach. Probably should drop them a spot or two but maybe they'll pull it out.

Ole Miss vs Florida St (at Orlando)- Ole Miss' plethora of talent vs Florida States plethora of talent. As far as I know State hasn't decided whether they'll start last years qb or their rookie. They have a more than capable defense.

Ark at TCU- Both teams lost alot of starters. Both are breaking in new offenses. I'm not super confident about this one. They are starting Kenny Trill though.

Miss St at BYU- Last year BYU beat Nebraska but lost to Missouri. Looks to be a good one.

UCLA at A&M- UCLA has a heisman contender at QB. The Aggies have DE ready to go into beast mode. Being at Kyle field will be hella important.

Florida at Florida St- State returns every starter on offense. They beat the Gators by 25 last year. I'm not having a hard time putting this one low. At Florida State to.

Auburn vs Clemson- This is gonna be a rough one. Clemson lost a lot of guys on defense but that offense is coming back. Good luck Tigers.

I find it funny that 5 years later you still enjoy that joke. Simple people and their simple things.

Don't underestimate the Hokies man. That new head coach will get their offense going and they could give Tennessee a pretty tough fight.

Looks good. Looking forward to some of these matchups week 1; Ole Miss vs. Florida State is particularly interesting.

Vols should win, but you never know when VT is gonna pull a defensive rabbit out of their hat like they did a few years ago in Columbus.

quote:

LSU vs Wisconsin

Wisconsin will be better than LSU fans think, but not good enough to win the game.

quote:

Alabama vs USC

Alabama opening opponents are always hyped up and Alabama always beats the hell out of them.

quote:

Georgia vs North Carolina

If UGA has a healthy RB, this game shouldn't be a problem. Baylor ran for 645 yards on UNC in the bowl game.

quote:

Ole Miss vs Florida St

Ole Miss is a good team with a lot of talent, but FSU is a better team with more talent.

quote:

Ark at TCU

Gut feeling: Bert and the boys make a huge statement in a shockingly easy win.

Miss St at BYU

Weird, tough road game for Miss St against a team that'll be better than their record. Seriously, look at BYU's schedule. This will be one of their easier games. BYU could start out 1-5 and be favored in this game. They fricked themselves with their schedule.

quote:

UCLA at A&M

Fun, wild shootout. First to 40 wins. Josh Rosen is better than Trevor Knight.

quote:

Florida at Florida St

FSU by a lot

Auburn vs Clemson

If anyone remembers the USC at VT opener in 2004, I have a feeling this will be similar. Auburn will play Clemson much tougher than anyone expects them to, but Clemson's talent will eventually win out. Auburn's effort will be lauded nationally.

I can't wait to see how TCU and Arkansas will play out.

Am I the only one who wants to see Alabama lose to USC? I'm a little torn but I think I'd rather see them lose. If they can somehow manage 3 losses early! Some parody would be sweet, lol. It would give some other guys a chance. It would also be funny for a 2 loss team to get into the playoffs over some other guys.

Either way. Afterwards we'd all get to see the Jim Harbaugh or Dabo interview when they lose the chip.

I don't think LSU fans expect Wisconsin to be easy. That's a long way to travel; I do think Fournette will be the difference though.

Bama could be in real trouble if USC scores a couple of early touchdowns. With what looks like uncertainty at QB this could be a really, really tough game. I know the defense should keep it close regardless and it would be unheard of if the running game isn't elite but if we can't pass the ball down the field we probably won't win our opener.

I look for LSU to issue a statement by drilling Wisconsin by 21+.

Auburn has a chance to knock off a top 5 team and I won't rule out a win but Watson is a beast. Clemson by 10.

A&M should beat a really good Bruin team and wait for it.......they will do it with defense.

Ole Miss has the toughest opener and I think they pull the slight upset. This rebel team is vastly underrated right now.

Tennessee will snooze through a boring game that will never be in doubt.

TCU lost a lot of experience on Offense, could definitely see Arkansas going down and manhandling them. Think Ole Miss have a real chance to beat FSU, don't think they will have any trouble movin the ball and FSU have huge uncertainties at QB.
