Considering that Saban inherited a shite show then turned the program around and won a national title in less than 5 years, I'd say he was better. Miles isn't a bad coach but he owes his national title to Nick Saban

Not this shite again. Miles owes his title to Saban for winning it in his 3rd season here, but Saban doesn't owe shite to Dinardo for winning in his 4th season?

Saban resurrected the program, but to act like the cupboard was bare when he arrived is disingenuous.

Regardless, the facts are there so there is no need to make up things like 4 or 5 hypothetical national titles. I actually don't disagree with you, but Saban didn't stay at LSU, so I'm not going to give him credit for something that didn't happen by his own choice.

If you compare their careers at LSU only, I think most rational observers would say Miles>Saban. You can't give Saban the nod because of what he has done at Alabama.

And I had him at number 3 for us. That shows what a shitshow we were for a while.

It's interesting to see how each fanbase's rankings shook out, i.e. Tubs at OM vs. AU, Nutt at Arkansas vs. OM, Sherrill at aTm vs. MSU. Spurrier and Saban were gimmes at both of their schools.

. Dooley (he's got a NC)

Correction , he had Walker. Richt was and still is a better coach than Dooley. Dooley rode Erks defense almost his entire career.

Are you an outlier or do most UGA fans feel this way?

Unlike every other SEC school, all five of AU's most recent HCs finished a season ranked in the AP top 4 while at AU.

And thus far, four of five have ended their AU careers with a losing season

When is Auburn is good they are really good, but when the wheels come off they tank hard. No on is expecting them to do anything this year so they probably make the CFP.

Most of the fans I know feel Richt is the best coach UGA ever had in modern era. I'm not gonna say Dooley didn't bring a youthful excitement to the program in 64, but he wasn't exactly the greatest coach. He just worked in a different era, less scrutiny. He would have never been HC long enough to get to a player like HW in this day and time. Erk was the DC from 64-80 and left after the NC. Most think/ rumor was Erk was promised the job , because Dooley was leaving/retiring ; whatever and then crawfished him.
