I realize I can't stop west posters from posting- but in the spirit of an unbiased opinion I'm more interested in what our east brethren have to say. Due to different schemes I'll try to avoid particular positions like DT/NG

Interior DL:
Davon Godchaux- LSU
Montravious Adams- Auburn
Daylon Mack - aTm

3 down ends:
Jon Allen- Bama
Dietrich Wise Jr- Arkansas
Lewis Neal- LSU

Rush ends:
Carl Lawson- Auburn
Miles Garrett- aTm
Daeshon Hall- aTm

Rush linebackers:
Tim Williams- Alabama
Arden Key- LSU
Ryan Anderson- Alabama

Inside Linebackers:
Richie Brown- MSU
Kendall Beckwith- LSU
Rueben Foster- Alabama

Safeties:
Tony Connor- Ole Miss
Jamal Adams- LSU
Eddie Jackson- Alabama

Cornerbacks:
Marlon Humphrey- Alabama
Kevin Tolliver- LSU
Donte Jackson- LSU

Nickel backs:
Minkah Fitzpatrick- Alabama
Tre'davious White- LSU
Henre Tolliver- Arkansas

This will inevitably devolve into a pissing match- and I will also state that these aren't necessarily the top 3 players at their position in the division, I'm merely asking you to rank the players I listed. I also didn't list in my personal order. It's not much but it beats a fournette vs Chubb debate

I have a hard time not seeing Donovan Wilson as a top 3 nickel or Armani Watts as a top 3 safety.

Read the thread dude. I didn't say these were the top 3- that in itself is up for debate. I asked to rank the players that I listed, as objectively as possible. Please allow some healthy discussion on the topic at hand before we derail this bad boy into the oblivion.

Doesn't Kentucky have a 6'4 cornerback who is supposedly really good?

Honestly, Barnett from UT may be my personal pick.

Could make argument for OM's Marquis Haynes as pure pass rusher.

Also, Carl Lawson, might have the ability but we haven't really seen it. I know injury has been an issue but there are so many players that have proven they can do it and he hasn't yet.

My reading comprehension is weak today.

I still think he is the best in the SEC though.

Wise was out of control toward the end of the season. You could definitely make a case for him having the best second half of the season in the SEC.

Breeland Speaks will be on this list at season's end.

I think Richie Brown should be lower and Tre'Davious White should be higher. People don't realize how good White is. Last year was an anomaly due to Steele's horrendous defensive schemes.
