1) Terry Bowden
2) Bobby Petrino
3) Tommy Tuberville
4) Houston Nutt

Almost all have identical records except Petrino; but he lacks experience the others have.

I would go:

1) Petrino
2) Tubberville
3) Nutt
4) Bowden

Bowden-too many AU folks railroaded him but when HE was in charge he was good.
Petrino-great offense, sucked at defense
Nutt-solid but not spectacular
Tuberville-OVER-RATED as hell

I'd start with the coaches who had an SEC championship and/or an undeafeated season, then go from there.

Bowden- when HE was in charge, and still had Dye's talent/Tommy as his OC, he was good.

This is what I may have been getting at. Just coaching ability.

Why is Tubberville too high?

Nutt can win. It's just not as much to go on.

Tubbs

Bowden was good. the Auburn family screwed him. And he somewhat screwed himself. If he had stayed at Arky, they would be so much better off. Tubbs was ok but he was able to take advantage of Bama being arse at the time. Right place, right time..
