AU and UA = NFL Bust U

When the Los Angeles Rams (then the St. Louis Rams) went on the clock with the second pick of the 2014 NFL draft, they could have thrown a dart at the board and probably found a future Pro Bowler.

Khalil Mack. Jake Matthews. Mike Evans. Odell Beckham Jr. In just three seasons, 13 members of the 2014 first round have made a Pro Bowl. The Rams still screwed it up.

They drafted offensive tackle Greg Robinson with that No. 2 overall pick. After three horrible seasons, the Rams admitted defeat and traded Robinson to the Detroit Lions, according to ESPN.com’s Adam Schefter. The Rams got back a 2018 sixth-round pick for the guy they drafted second overall three years ago.

You're late and Tennessee still sucks.

Fake news. UA has an exceptionally low rate of draft busts.

So does Tennessee. Auburn has a low rate because they almost never have draft picks that much is expected of.

Tennessee has an exceptional NFL draft record for a slightly different reason. No busts because no players are ever drafted.

No its actually pretty obvious. Fulmer got lazy, Cutcliffe left, AD panicked and fired Fulmer cause the seats started being empty, AD made a good* hire in Lane Kiffin but only put a 800K buyout on his contract, Kiffin left weeks before singing day, we made another horrible hire because no one wanted to touch us with a 10 foot pole, held onto him for too long, and are just now getting stable again. No wonder about it.

...so one hire you didn't protect (1 year) and one 'horrible' hire (3 years) cost you 20 years.

Here's to Butch being the one

No. Cutcliffe left in 98 and Fulmer got lazy. Did you miss that part? Do you know anything? Do you have Google?

Still think he has a shot at being a successful guard, it was ridiculous to draft him so high as an LT. Robert Gallery had a few decent years after he was declared a bust in a new position with lower expectations.

I apologize, to go in line with this thread

Lol Auburn sucks

you gotta get drafted before you can be an NFL bust. given the numbers of UA/AU guys drafted the law of averages is bound to catch up sometime, dumbass.
