Quick question (re: LSU vs Bama / A&M vs Bama)

Maybe some of you A&M fans could help answer this for me,
Why was (undefeated) #6 Texas A&M an 18 point underdog to Alabama... while (two loss) #15 LSU is only a 7 point underdog to Alabama?
*I say #15 because that is what LSU was ranked when the line came out*
I understand that homefield advantage affects the spread, usually homefield accounts for 4 or 5 points.
So that would mean, if LSU were playing in Tuscaloosa, they would be about an 11 point dog.. which is still 7 points less than what A&M was. Why?
TIA

Well the public is going to load up on Alabama -7...
So why would Vegas make it easier for all of the people betting on Alabama to win?

Actually if homefield accounts for 4 or 5 points then LSU would be about an 11 point dog on a neutral field and about a 15 point dog in Tuscaloosa.

because A&M got annihilated the last few years by bama, and has a subpar defense

That's not how it works bud... it's +7 at LSU of +11 at Alabama. There is no neutral site factor when doing the +/-4 home field
And even if it did that would still be 3 points less than an undefeated #6 team... sooooooo

What do you think the key to the game is? Arden?

umm yeah that is exactly how it works. But its usually three points for home field.
So 7, 10, and 13

Alabama is gonna do the same thing it has done regardless of Les' firing.
Load the box and dare LSU to throw. Better hope Orgeron doesn't forget that tight ends are actually a position on the football field.

Wrong. But thanks, I'll know not to take your opinions about this topic seriously from now on.

Home field, LSU defense.

Let's see what happens in the actual game before you spout your mouth off. Also, why don't you use a data point that has already happened? Like, say, maybe our common game @Auburn?
