Question for the Cocky faithful

First, I just want to say that I was greatly disappointed with the game on Saturday night.
I expected Clemson to win, of course, but not like that.
I was talking to an older Clemson fan (68 year old lady) on Monday, and she said that she was disappointed and that "South Carolina State put up more of a fight."
Do you agree with that assessment?
On the bright side ... at least the 4th qtr was not cancelled Saturday night.

Why don't I believe you? Probably because most 68 year old Clemson fans still refer to SC State as "the colored school in Orangeburg."

That game made me sick... I definitely didn't expect that. My honest prediction was 42-28. It had to be a mix of 1. Clemson was highly motivated by being beaten by Pitt even though Watson threw for nearly 600. And 2. The team, full of freshman and sophomores, wasn't prepared for a place like Death Valley jr. it's a loud place, I'll give them that.
