Would you be happy with your football coach if he has 2 conference wins in 2 years the way Arkansas is with theirs? It's kind of pitiful.

Ok, I'll bite. Do you not follow college football like at all? There is SO MUCH MORE to the story than 2 SEC wins in 2 years. Variables like: The roster he inherited, completely changing the offensive style, shitload of new coordinators. Shall I keep going? Do you understand yet, champ? Enjoy your overrated coach and overrated RB. 9 yards agains a team who only has 2 SEC wins in 2 years? 5 star? lulz.

Given what shite they've been through (since the motorcycle wreck) damned skippy. I'd be elated if I was Arkansas right now.

Depends on two things:

1. If he's fat.
2. Has a hot wife.

If those two are in the equation then yes. You can't have high expectations for someone when they're fat with money and married to a gold digger because they have already overachieved in life. So when things like 17-0 and 30-0 happen in the same season, it fools you into thinking the program is going into the right direction, and you're happy.

Seriously though, lets not act like LF wouldn't be the primary back at Arkansas. Also, when Bert plays in 2 national championship games and wins at least one then let me know

depends on the state of the program he inherited. I probably wouldn't be concerned about 2 years ago and would focus more on last year. Last year they made tremendous strides, even if not in record you could see they were at least a better football team. As long as you're trending upward that seems like a good thing.

If my program was where Arkansas was when Bert was hired? Yes I would be.

It's not about the the W/L record though, you have to look at the product on the field. It's obvious Arkansas has looked better each year since he was hired. Petrino didn't recruit defense and within a few years they have a pretty good unit. He had to come in and completely change the offense. They show flashes of being a really good team by the end of last year. I would be very much optimistic.

While I do agree with you on you're premise and believe as well that arky is on the rise, your comebacks are also shaky in theory and you can't keep using the same crap over and over again.

Yes...Arkansas held one of the best running backs in the country to 9 yards last year. Quite a feat, but you make it seem like he sucked, which makes your team look worse? Why downplay that? Do you not like your team?

Overrated coach? Come on bro...how can one be overrated when most of the irrational posters here (and on tiger rant for that matter) say he is dumb and can't win? BUT facts show us that Miles and LSU had the highest winning percentage over the past decade.

You can't just spout stuff out with abSOlutely nothing to back it...an Arky fan trying to down talk to an LSU fan??? C'mon bro.

I do agree that Arky is on the up. But you haven't done anything yet. Be prepared to eat crow...don't run away and hide when Arky wins 2 sec games again this year.

Going back to another point the whole "2 wins in 2 years" thing is just repeated so often because it sounds good on the internet. Does 2013 really matter?

Same as how people always point to UGA's "x for whatever" against Florida since 1990. Ummmm...it's not hard for florida to wreck shop for a decade when it's spurrier against ray goff and jim donnan.

We're 4-4 in the last 8 and have won 3 of the last 4, but I guarantee you come October the numbers all over the TV broadcast will be the record since 1990

I really wasn't making the 2 wins in 2 years argument...I was saying that they may only win 2 games again this year...as in just like last year

If you want to have a rational conversation, then fine. I was responding to the irrational OP in an irrational way.

LSU education shining through.

I'd love for Mason to win 2 SEC games in 2 years. Sadly, he won't.
