Question for LSU fans

I keep reading how your recruiting is a lure for new coaches. Don't you think the coach you just fired and the coach your new coach will have to try to beat have something going on do with that? Are most of yall saying this under 20?
I don't think it's going to be such a smooth transition on the recruiting front for a few years, but if you make the right hire you should be ok in the long run
Make the wrong hire and you become Tennessee. At least a decade of misery.

I've got a pretty good idea LSU isn't "your" school
And this is a serious question, LSU wasn't always a recruiting machine, so what makes yall so sure the next guy sees that as a plus

Hey lefty08, ignore the inbred assholes on this board. You say something they don't like and their response is to insult you rather than get into an intelligent conversation with you over your question.
I personally think Les had a huge impact on recruiting while here. The fans may not have liked him, but the players loved him. That speaks volumes. I think you are correct too in making the right hire. Make the wrong one and boom we are Tennessee all over again.

The fact that the recruiting base is more solid than what Tennessee had doesn't really pass the smell test. Tennessee was a national recruiter when they had Fulmer.

This cycle is definitely going to be challenging. We still have Oregon, Craig, Juluke and Raymond but who knows if they stay on with a new coach.
They managed to pull in a very solid class this year even after the shitshow at the end of last season, although that was a very different situation.

Meh he got over a 50% raise to come here, and if he isn't retained (I really hope he is) he won't have trouble finding a job elsewhere. His unit has been great
