I sat in the from row at the Urnge Bowl and watched how good Moo State's run defense was.

I was underwhelmed.

I realize that you answered the question correctly, but your offense was not to blame for last year's game against Mississippi State.

Your defense gave up the most yards it has ever given up under the Mad Hatter, brah.

No doubt. The LSU defense that faced MSU and Auburn in September was one of the worst LSU defenses, up the middle, that I have seen since the late 90's.

We were playing a MLB that wouldn't start for Bowling Green, much less another SEC program. We had a true Freshman DT, while extremely talented, was coming off of a horrible injury, who didn't play his SR year in high school. He wasn't ready to play, but was still our best DT. Our other DT was good, but as a Soph, still not ready for the wars of the SEC.

Simply put: LSU was really, really bad up the middle last year, especially up the middle. LSU is much improved there this year.

But, to answer the OP's question: The 2015 OL is the best and deepest OL since 2011. Fournette is a year older and wiser. Guice is a very special RB as a true frosh. And...... QB play will be much, much better this year than last, which will open up the field for better running lanes.

Chavis's fault. He was supposed to coach the running backs that day

LSU definitely wasn't fresh off a crushing loss that cost LSU the division lead and SECC hopes or anything

2014 Brandon Harris v. Miss St
248.45 QB Rat., 6/9 140 yards 2 TD 1 INT, 2 car 19 yards

He accomplished this against State's second team defense... who State fans have been claiming all offseason were better than their starting defense, and who will be on the field for the entire game in 2015.

Our OLine will be fine but it's damn hard to run the ball when teams have everybody, including their fans, in the box.

Nice timing on this comment right after someone pointed out how bad our defense sucked.

Shouldn't matter. Your defense will be garbage this year. Wouldn't be surprised to see us go 21-4 again over the next 25 years against Moo St.

I'd throw out everything but the 2012 results and after as far as being relevant to the discussion, unless you guys plan on dressing out some alumni.

I'm sure our 50 year old alumni players would have no problem with your 2015 squad, either.

I'm sure Dak wouldn't give them issues at all considering John Bond bent them over for 4 years.

Miss State is such a joke. Your best team in history won 10 games and got blown out in the Orange bowl. Everything about Miss State is a dumpster fire from the ugly arse uniforms to your high stadium and your 1 Walmart.

Winning is great. I personally would not talk trash when my team strat at the end of the game is to pray it ends quicker.

Question for LSU fans regarding Fournette's 9 yards rushing vs. Arkansas last year

Do y'all like Fournette, and has he gotten any better?
