If yall get beat by Va Tech and finsh 7-6. How much of a hot seat will Bielema be on going in to next year

Not very hot probably. Next year is year 4 and he needs to show more improvement than this year. Not necessarily win/loss improvement, but things like not having bottom 10 defense and such.
Basically he needs to keep getting bowl elgible, win the games heavily favored in, not lose games heavily favored in. Stay competitive in evenly matched games (not get blown out 56-3 by Auburn for instance).

Bert's seat is already on fire as far as I'm concerned. His head will be on a stick if we don't see some serious changes next season.

I have been a big fan, and will continue to be, but the loss to Missouri is strike one for me. It would be different if they were worth a damn this year, but they aren't.
I am seeing some things I don't like. Things that I never expected to see out of his teams. We let Auburn and LSU, maybe even aTm intimidate us this year. Not good. Two years tops to clean that shite up, or down the road.

Well not everyone would hire an unproven coach like LSU....Mediocrity was acceptable to the Tigers it seems.

If we have to lose the bowl game for Robb Smith to get fired and be the sacrificial lamb, then so be it.

Next year is year 5 and his shitty recruiting somehow got worse lately. It will be another 6-7 win season, but hey he is funny and has a good personality, which is good enough for a lot of hog fans.

The fan base will start heating it up for him if he loses, but his buyout is still prohibitively expensive for the next 2-3 years. If this continues, it'll be a situation where the fanbase wants him gone, and the administration's hands are tied.

Bert has to overhaul the defensive staff of he'll start losing the fan base. Our defense should have been good this year.
Regardless he's not getting canned anytime soon with his contract.
