Question for A&M fans

In the 80's A&M won some conference titles and in the 90's A&M won some conference titles. The last conference title was 1998, in the Big 12.

My question is, Over the next 30 years if you don't end up competeting for the divisional title the last week of the regular season, will you wonder if you should have just stayed in the Big 12?

So far the shining moment in the SEC was Johnny Manziel and that isn't anything to sneeze at.

What WestCoastAg said, with a history refresher: The Big 12 came to be in 1996.

A&M won the conference once, in '98.

Nope, whether your premise is flawed or not. (But it is.)

Why are you confused? They won conference titles in the 80's and 90's.

They came from a conference called the Big 12.

Ah I see what I did in the OP for why people are confused. I will fix the error.

I ask you the same thing.

I would rather not win another championship and play games at Auburn, BR, Tuscolusa, Oxford, etc. than to be crowned the tallest midget in the shitty SWC, which the fricking longhorns destroyed, or in the Big Twatever, which the longhorns destroyed.

Nah, I meant to separate the 80's from the 98 title. I split the sentences apart to clarify it.

No. The big 12 was a shotgun wedding that was doomed shortly after the vows were made. I really believe that we came home with the move to the SEC

Why would they wonder? They weren't competing for division titles in the big 12 either

Technically we tied for the south title in our second to last season, but yeah thanks to Fran we didn't really compete for them

As the great Bear Bryant once said, "I hate Texas A&M but I hate nebraskafaninwi even more."

Truth hurts I guess. Just saying it wouldn't make sense to leave all that money on the table to finish behind Baylor and TCU instead of Alabama and Auburn

Nah. I think A&M will have some conference shots, but operating under the premise that we never do:

I would rather play the best and be middle of a pack of powerhouses than to go back to beating Tech and baylor. Getting excited for one game a year vs pretty much all of them in the SEC.
