Already doing a great job. Ignorant people do not know how down this program was when he took over. It is not like the school won a National Championship and then couldn't fight itself out of a wet paper bag with the coaches who followed it. I would be more upset with Pearl if he was on staff of a NC team , then 5 years in struggles to make the Big Dance. That would suck.

Everyone is aware where auburn was, they are also aware they are still playing in the first round of the sec-t three years later.

Only ignorant fans whose own program suck, think he is doing a poor job. Essentially he is starting a program from scratch. In three years he has had a top 5 recruiting class and is using the youth to build the program. Those other programs do not have a excuse and are spinning their wheels in a league that sucks.

You're talking about how bad of a program Auburn is, while celebrating a top 5 recruiting class with a coach who has a terrible history with NCAA infractions. Helloooooo.

This isn't football. There should be something to show for a 3rd year in a basketball program. At least 20+ wins and a winning league mark.
Anderson followed Pelphrey here at Arkansas. Anderson inherited a loss of scholarships, transfers, and an overall shitty program and still managed to go 22-12 and have a double digit win total in SEC play.
Whoever takes over LSU when they fire JJ will likely have success in year 3 as well.
Pearl is a good talker and recruiter and thats about it.

You mean a 5 bid league according to all the latest projections. Every year is a historically "bad" bubble year. So no, you gtfo here. A simple google search will show you that that is the most overused term come NCAAt time.
The SEC ranks higher this season in conference RPI ranking than it has in the last 8 years. So no, the SEC does not "suck" as compared to years past. This is the strongest the league has been in quite a while.

The fact Auburn starts 4 FR/ 1 SO, one FR who was in HS in December, suggests the future is bright given their winning record

More ignorance, he got in NCAA trouble because of a BBQ and then lying about it. I wouldn't call that a history of infractions. His top 5 recruiting will start to pay off, but there are growing pains with that youth. Study Basketball some before making stupid comments.

His top 4 players are Freshman and they are still semi competitive. The league sucks and has for the last 10 years. Kentucky and UF should be the ones who are pissed, because this league doesn't do much to prepare them for the Big Dance.
