Quesion for Alabama Fans

Are there any restrictions on cameras? I saw on the ticket where is says no recording devices, but I have a Canon Rebel and it's not a tiny camera. As long as it isn't a video camera, do you think I will have any problems?

I have not observed any cameras in the stands and the coverage going in is kind of spotty. Maybe around your neck under a jacket?

No telephoto lenses are allowed, but they sometimes walk right by the gate. You can be turned away though if they notice it.
Point and shoot cameras are fine, even if they have video capability.

Lady beside me at the UT game had a big arse camera with a zoom lens and everything.
But you may need a purse to sneak one of those in.

They'll check purses too. A girl I went to a game with had hers in her purse and the security dude found it. He asked "is this a telephoto lens?" and she said "I don't even know what that is"...he let her through.

My wife has a pretty powerful camera that she takes in. They always seem most concerned with the length of the lense rather than the type of camera.
