LOL. Football 101. Just examples. Learn how to have a football convo.
I'm sorry you displayed your ignorance of LSU's offense in that question. Anyone who watched even one LSU game would know the WR screen was hardly ever used.

Why not take those out as well?
5 for 7, 76 yards, 1 TD, 0 int

He also had 14 attempts at auburn but only completed 3 I believe? So it's tied for the most attempts

The point is you pointed out one game and made fun of it because it was against a cupcake. He had a game similar to that against an SEC team as well, which you conveniently forgot.
6 of 9 for 140 yards, 2 TD, 1 INT; 2 rushes for 19 yards against MSU
The INT came on the last throw to the endzone (hail mary)
While true (and a legitimate point) Mississippi State was hardly known for their secondary, either. Only time will tell for Harris, but I don't think I would crown him saviour of the program, yet. Cautious optimism might be the order of the day.

i have to agree with the opposition on this one.
Harris had one good game and completely fell apart in his first start.
with that being said...alot of that had to do with him not knowing the playbook. we all know he has the tools so we could see improvement with both QBs.

LOL. I was telling the OP to dig into the stats. He was doing a blind stat analysis and equating that to unfounded hype based on the eye test since I DID watch LSU games.
Do I seriously need to explain to you how this works?

No, trying to dismiss what he did in the final minutes against State is trolling. Was that not clear?

Aren't you the guy with the weird need for every LSU fan to admit that Chubb is the greatest RB in the nation?

Your problem is that you can't grasp the difference in dissenting opinion/opposing viewpoints and trolling. The arkansas and tennessee fans troll, this is simply pointing out that your QB isn't that great. Which you get defensive about.

No, link? I've pointed out, and nearly every conceivable metric agrees with me, that as of right now, in the summer of '15, chubb has been better than LF so far. But I've never demanded people say he's the greatest running back in america...as you claim.

So, you're just stupid? Got it.

I've already agreed that he wasn't great, so how is that being defensive exactly?
I'm pointing out that dismissing the State game because it was "only 6 completions" and "less than 10 attempts" is ignorant.

Don't need a link. In every LF vs. Chubb thread you need validation that Chubb is undoubtedly better from LSU fans. It's weird.

HERE is the crux of the matter. He has all offseason to work on his game and learn the playbook better. One would think he will be improved over last season. If LSU gets average production from their QB (Which is very possible) then they should have a very good year.
I think WG has a problem with the OP making a case for Harris being very good based on last seasons stats.
I would expect improved QB play this Fall. How much improvement will dictate on how good a year the Tigers have.

read the thread.

He is better, I don't need any validation on that.
What's so funny, yet will surely be impossible for you to see, is that you have a hardon for accusing me of wanting to convince everyone that chubb is better than LF....yes at the same time you are sitting here trying to convince everyone that Harris is somehow better than we think because of one single game..a loss at that.

He's only played one year sooooo all we have is last seasons stats. It is, quite literally, impossible to know how good he'll be in the future. It hasn't happened yet. All we have is 2014. And he wasn't that good.

Well, are you trolling or stupid?
You want to dismiss his game against NMS, that's fine. They were one of the worst defenses in the country last year.
However, dismissing the State game because he only threw 9 passes is either stupid, or trolling. You say you aren't trolling, so I went with the former.

So why do you throw hissy fits every time an LSU fans says they think LF is better?

Please don't tell me you think I was saying Harris is good because of the State game.
