QB Fact of the Day (Harris is the new starter update)

Of all SEC QBs wth at least 40 attempts in 2014, Brandon Harris had the highest QB rating with 175. He threw a touchdown every 4.2 completions, wow!
Conversely, Anthony Jennings had a QB rating of 118 and was the only SEC starter to have a completion percentage below 50%. He threw 5 more touchdowns than Harris on the year...but in 5x the number of attempts.
If Les gets his head on straight and starts Harris this year, LSU is going to be scary good.

25/45, 450 yards, 55%, 6 TD/2 INT
Oh btw, most of that came from a 11/14 for 178 yard, 3 TD/0 INT game against...new mexico state.
Yeah, everyone look out for the new sheriff in town

LOL
His most completions, attempts, yards, and TDs all came against NMSU. With the very limited sample size he has in his career, if you start going down to the next most, then the next most, then the next most...what's the point?

Interesting stat, OP, but it is important to dig deeper into that stat.
1) What routes were run for the completed passes? Were they easy passes to WR screens or a deep corner pass 30 yards down the field?
2) How much of the playbook is he comfortable with yet?
3) Does he have the leadership capabilities to lead the team into battle against the likes of Alabama?
When LSU played Wiscosnin to start the season last season, their QB play was flat out awful and it didn't get much better throughout the season.

The point is you pointed out one game and made fun of it because it was against a cupcake. He had a game similar to that against an SEC team as well, which you conveniently forgot.
6 of 9 for 140 yards, 2 TD, 1 INT; 2 rushes for 19 yards against MSU
The INT came on the last throw to the endzone (hail mary)

By this statement, I can tell you watched very little LSU football last year.

I know that. I was just stating I can tell how little LSU football he watched by that one question (though I said statement).

Yes, I pointed out the game that he accumulated an extremely large chunk of his career passing stats. And those were against some nobody. So it doesnt' really carry much weight.

half as many completions (come on, he completed 6 passes dude), threw LESS THAN 10 times, threw 2 TDs and 1 INT. Big deal.

Harris's stats against everyone else except New Mexico State (so this does still include sam houston state and louisnana monroe):
14 for 31, 45%, 274 yards, 3 touchdowns, 2 int
14 for 31, 45%, 274 yards, 3 touchdowns, 2 int

Harris was not very good last year, but lets just downplay the fact that he almost led a come from behind victory against State because he only threw 9 passes.
Troll somewhere else.
