Football: Probably not, but at this point I like the direction in which he's taking the program and he should be given a chance to at least get UK in the division race.

Basketball: Yes. For the second time.

Baseball: Lets just talk about getting to Omaha first.

Why not? Stranger things have happened. This year will be telling.

Yes

Because we have done good to have guys playing QB who are basicly walk-ons . We Treon Harris who only came to UF because he wanted to play QB and FSU wouldn't let him play QB there. Del Rio was a walk on at Bama and the guy from Purdue was so bad he could play for them . If the offense turns around then the recruiting could improve. Saban is the only one in the SEC that has a 50% chance or better and I am not sure I would bet on him winning another national champion at Bama unless he finds a QB.

This is the same Will Muschamp that couldn't even make it to the SEC championship game at the best program in east ? Now he is at a average at best program in the east and you think he can win it all? Muschamp will not do as good as Spurrier at USC let alone win the national championship .

Let's see how y'all do without boom's defense this year. Hell, a Gator was the reason why we landed one of our top recruits this year...bc he respects Boom so much and told the guy to play for him at Carolina.

Y'all said he would never have a decent qb. Wrong. Bentley is real, and Muschamp seems to have learned from the failed experiment at UF.

Spurrier was a lazy arse recruiter and he is having to dig out from the mess Spurrier left us in.

Besides...Spurrier's failure to win it all, especially with the 2010 team, is a DIRECT result of SPURRIER not being able to finish...not The University of South Carolina per se, much less any indication of how Muschamp will do here.

No. In fact, I don't realistically see any current SEC coaching winning a NC at Arkansas. Next to impossible to recruit the talent in the numbers required to do so.

Football: No. The November meltdowns are bizarre. Plus you may have noticed, the SECW is kinda tough.

Basketball: If Robert Williams came back, maybe. But I think that question was pretty well answered last night. So, No.

Baseball: Best chance of the big 3. Would be stunned if it happened this year. A&M will have a lot of freshmen starting this year, who should be much better in '18. We'll see.

T&F, just to piss people off: Oh, hell yes.

Highly doubtful, especially so long as Saban is at Bama but Urban is a major problem too when you get to that level. That said, even though things usually become clear within the 4th or 5th yr it's not a hard and fast rule so I'd never say never. BUT I'd prolly have a heart attack if it happened simply because I don't see it happening.

No. Dream situation for Mullen is as follows.

11-1 season with SEC championship (loss to Bama because Mullen can't beat them). Lose in the playoff or if he's lucky NC game do to boneheaded playcalling or substitutions. State fans love him. Media thinks he's the best coach ever. Media reports he's a lock for the Michigan job next year. Mullen stays at state. Media thinks he may not really be a good coach since he didn't take Michigan job. State fans love him. State goes 6-7 with a win over ole Miss and a bowl win next year. State fans love him.

I mean Dabo turned out to be a good coach, so yeah. Stranger things have happened.

Fwiw, I don't think Muschamp will get a championship. Anywhere. Hope I'm wrong.

Dabo wasn't a proven failure being given a reboot as another school's third or fourth choice, either. Other than the administration believing he was the right fit, we didn't really have much to go on with Dabo's ability.

Clemson has also done it before. When was the last first-time champion in football? BYU? That's as big a hurdle as the rest of it - getting enough ball players to believe it can be done. The FSU's and Alabama's have a great advantage there over the rest of us.

That's my point. We hadn't already seen that he couldn't handle a program. Boom has shown us that.
