Q for all fans : Can you realistically see your coach winning a National Title?

Everyone hopes they can, but do you feel confident that there is a realistic path to a national championship with your current coach at your program?

football: maybe. Has done well so far putting together a staff and recruiting. TBD if it will pan out or not

Yes. Maybe not immediately but Mac is a good coach just needs to get better QB play

I think the main baseline for having a realistic expectation of the capability to win an National Title is recruiting. Everyone who has won a national title in the past 10-15 years has averaged at least Top 12-15 recruiting classes.
If you can do that, you have a baseline. Past that, nobody can be taken off the table. Gus almost did it in his 1st year. Dabo was basically was Orgeron is now.

Maybe MA, since his recruiting is on the upswing for 2018 and '19 classes. I hope he makes it that long.

I think we have a more realistic chance to win a baseball national championship than a basketball one.

Football: yep. If CWM sticks around long enough and keeps recruiting well, the pieces will eventually fall into place. The guys he has in place already certainly believe. I believe we will get closer than ever while Bentley is our qb..maybe actually win it all.
Basketball: Yep. We're getting closer and closer. CFM will get us there sooner rather than later.
Baseball: Yep. This may be the year it happens again for the Yardcocks. We have everything we need as far as a team AND the coach...just need a few of those lucky breaks baseball requires.
Oh ..and I'll add women's basketball just for shits and giggles: yep. IF UCONN fricking falls off the face of the fricking Earth, we're up.
All in all, things in the REAL Columbia are absolutely looking up. Every single program we have is trending in the right direction.
