It seems as if he's shed the CoachO/Wildoyz persona.
Ed is showing layers of sophistication that many didn't know existed.
Good Luck to a good dude

Maybe I'm wrong, but Ed seems reserved and serious.
He seems to be taking a new strategy.
Ideally I'd prefer for him to have success as the wild-eyed psycho who threw chairs and ripped peoples shirts off. Will be interesting to see if he can maintain

I actually like Orgeron. He's a little weird, but cool.
He'd be in the top 2 SEC coaches I would like to drink a beer with.

Why, because he's wearing a suit?

I've had mucha cerveza in his company (don't know what he was drinking) and he was a great guy. Slapping people on the back and keeping the whole beach popping. This was back in his Ole Miss honeymoon period

Great things happen when you get out of Mississippi

Nope, because he looks comfortable in that suit. Just a different aura about him. He doesn't seem like Coach O. He seems like Coach Orgeron

Originally I was not happy with the hire, but so many gumps talk so much shite about him that now I am pulling for the guy.
Prove em wrong Coach O!

He is.
I believe he will be much better than he was at Ole Miss. But what does that really look like? 8-4 or 9-3 is much better than 3-9. Is he really the guy who can take us where want to go? I have my doubts.

Not a stretch for many coaches I would guess. Especially one with resources like LSU. But you are right.

If I was the AD, I couldn't hire him. He hasn't been successful as a HC. I think it's completely different to be a HC than an intern head coach. Could he have learned from Ole Miss? Sure, but I really don't know that. There is reason why he was DL coach and didn't get the job at USC. Too many questions for me.

I will say this, as an LSU fan it is refreshing to hear a coach who is able to speak coherently, despite his heavy accent, and who is able to acknowledge issues the team has and what needs to be worked on.

I like Ed O. He seems tailor made for LSU.
