Seems off. How could Henry be the favorite for the Heisman but not the Doak Walker?

It's not like his contributions came in the return game or something like that.

Quietest 1700 yd season I've ever seen from a RB at a Power 5 school.

I thought he had a bit of a disappointing year when compared to last year?

Surprised Marcus Maye wasn't on the list at S.

Barnett is good but he is not better than Garrett. Not that it is terribly important but 5 of his 9 sacks came against Vandy, Mizzou, and USCe all of whom were a disaster offensively.

Edit: Yes I realize these awards are based off stats.

Proof that Alabama does more with less. They are truly the little team that could.

I was a tad bit surprised that Treadwell didn't make their WR list. He is clearly a dominant football player.

Deep year for WRs.

I mean, I'll take a Heisman over a Doak Walker man

Part of why Ole Miss fans love Treadwell is that he is the best blocking WR around. Not something that shows up in stats and that is all a lot of people look at. The guy is a huge part of our run game and helps other receivers get extra yards too.

7 of Garrett's 11.5 came against ASU, Nevada, and ISCe. That's not a good argument for either over the other.

Obviously. I'm just saying it. Doesn't make sense for Henry to not even be a finalist.

Same for Cook, though I'm now convinced his off field issues are what's keeping him out of the conversation.

eh, Tyrann Mathieu won the Bednarick and was a Heisman finalist, yet wasn't a finalist for the Thorpe. It's not like Henry isn't a finalist for the Doak, so not sure where you're getting he isn't a favorite to win it
