Pre-seas9n rankings hold no value. Committee ranking is all that matters now.

Ohio St
Alabama
FSU
Oregon
TCU
Auburn
Baylor

Here are your legit national title contenders minus one cinderella mid-major

Past this it doesn't really matter

this is fair for the most part minus a few here and there.

I would swap Missouri and Tennessee just for the fact that Missouri has won the east a couple times now. I would slide UCLA at least down to 15ish and USC to 10ish at best.

I agree.

UCLA lost their best player, the key cog of their offense. Florida State lost Jameis Winston and numerous other stars. Clemson lost Chad Morris, and that loss will be felt sooner rather than later, although I expect Deshaun Watson to soften the blow.

Clemson returns no more than ten total starters, IIRC.

Yeah, they lost a lot.

I don't think Clemson will feel the sting of losing Chad Morris as bad as Auburn did with losing Gus Malzahn, but it will be there (it's hard to make a hire as bad as Scot Loeffler, yet he somehow still has a top notch job). That offense will not be the same, not at all. They might be able to keep their defense top notch, but it's yet to be seen.
