Gotta disagree here. If we hadn't had nearly half our team injured, everyone knows we wouldn't have finished where we did in the east this year.
Our entire defense returns, as does the majority of the offense minus murray. We will not finish 3rd in the east..2nd at worst. We have a solid team returning and a very favorable schedule.

Not sure why you'd say bama at 3rd as long as saban is still their coach.

Kentucky at 7 is a safe bet.

For some reason people think untested QB's are bad at Bama.
Never mind the last 1st year starters for Bama both won National Titles in their first year.

I could see Bama and LSU flipped. Think LSU's QB is special though. Could be wrong. I think Auburn is 1, with Bama/LSU/Ole Miss challenging for 2.

Its true though. They want their DC gone, they know it.

I think it is reasonable to predict Auburn winning the west although I think it Iron Bowl will determine the winner of the division.

Yeah but theoretically we'll get better just based on experience. They'll know 60% of the plays instead of 30% hopefully.
We also beat USCe and LSU with that shitty defense.

...and some of us are playing Iowa. Time to starting thinking about recruiting and the '14 season.

I worry about you UGA fans. I know most of you are pretty sensible, and I can't argue that you may be in the conversation for the SEC and more next year, but I rarely see any UGA fans modestly predict the next season.
Right after the UK game I heard UGA folks on the radio indicating that despite having a new QB, they'd be the most well-positioned team with a new QB to compete for the national title. Obviously places a lot of pressure on Richt, again.

You all had some injuries on the offensive side of the ball no doubt but were pretty healthy on the defensive side of the ball when Mizzou came into Athens and hung 41 on you.
Just saying.

On the offensive side, they should be pretty good if they dont get the injury bug again.
Mason is a huge step back from Murray so all things being equal, they will not be as good as they were in August of 2013.
So same crap D, slightly worse O...prob 2 o3 in the SEC. Schedule is nice though.

I'm not even disputing ranking them #1. I just very rarely see any UGA people with less than championship expectations. Sometimes that is well-warranted, but I think it also sets up some of the angst we see from UGA people today.
I'm sure some just do it as part of fandom, but those that believe every year is their year with 100% conviction are the devastated ones I see each year.
