Making a preseason all-freshman team is quite possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard of. These kids haven't even played a down of college football.

And oftentimes, it's bad if you have a lot of guys on freshman all-american teams. It can mean your upper classmen aren't doing the job often.
In a perfect world, you would have a stud frosh play 25% of snaps, and move into a starting role sophomore year.

This a the Bielema Way. He's old school in giving young guys a chance to prove themselves and get on the field but still having experienced guys take the bulk of the snaps.
We may only sign 20 this recruiting cycle due to the low attrition rate that Bielema has and his awarding of schollys to walk ons.
