Think about Prescott with schools surrounded by talent. Auburn, Ut, LSU, UGA, UF, Bama.

Sky would have been the limit.

He is much better than I thought he was. As a Cowboy fan, he has been amazing. What he did at MSU was amazing. We would have been at least 2 games better with Zak last year.

Would have been a a Heisman winner at a number of schools

I dont know the back story on him but why the hell State?

Just setting yourself to be 10 steps behind. He is lucky that Romo was injured and he got the shot to prove himself

Would've done wonders at Auburn. Good everywhere else, but LSU.
MiLes and Cam would have him working on his sociology degree after college.

While I agree I think Mullen should get some credit in developing him.

Dumbass.

You think MSU had the talent that Bama, UF, UGA, LSU, etc.. have?

The fact that Mullen did that at MSU is a feat in itself.

Well Les probably would have moved him to tight end or fullback so I really don't think LSU missed out.

Just one of those good players that slipped through the cracks. He went to a smaller rural high school and that did not help his recruitment.

TCU offered as a QB as well and they were on the upswing. LSU came in late but he honored his commitment. It's not like he had zero offers.

They offered him as a TE.

He is the only coach that recruited him as a QB.

That makes him look bad?

Hes fine where he is. The Cowboys have more talent than those schools.

Except Bama.

To be fair, we had a nice supporting cast around him in 2014. It dropped off in 2015.

Nope. He wouldn't have been developed properly like Mullen did.

With Richt, absolutely

Im not knocking the talent that MSU had in 2014, but MSU does not consistently recruit at a top 10-20 level.

Mullen's success at keeping MSU relevant nationally is quite the accomplishment.
