A lot wrong with this but a 62 year old Tuberville going to FSU is probably the worst

FSU can do a lot better than Tuberville. Don't think Jimbo is leaving though.

Shut your dirty whore mouth! I would rather have Curly Hallman than Jimbo Fisher. He, I would take Bo Pelini over Jimbo .... Gene Chizik, too.

Tubervilles probably done with coaching after this year. His stubbornness to adapt to the game has been his undoing. He's still running the Tampa 2 pretty much and their offense has gone downhill because they're playing with no tempo.

I think Les can still coach at a top tier power five program with a philosophy change. But why would Tennessee hire a guy who's biggest knock is an inability to beat Bama, its biggest rival?

Yeah, they haven't forgotten 1999 in Tally. Tubs would be out even if he were at the top of his career, which he clearly isn't.

The original "Bowden Bowl" was scheduled for the 1999 season opener: Auburn at FSU, Terry vs Diddy.

Except Terry R-U-N-N-O-F-T. And Diddy was licking his chops to put a hurting on the program his son had managed to run into the ground.

AU's inbred AD, David Housel, exercised the unilateral buyout clause and cancelled the game for $1,000,000, allegedly at the urging of new AU HC Thomas Hawley Tuberville. The two schools, who had played each other many times in the past, didn't face each other on the gridiron until the 2013 BCSCG.

There are plenty of folks in the F$U admin who are still pissed about the buyout. Although they hold AU primarily responsible, Tubs was certainly part of the decision making process.
