I'm a little embarrassed for the author..
These kind of metrics are basically useless. If they were useful you wouldn't see teams like SDSU throughout the list.
He could have used SOS or average opponent rank and improved the list dramatically

It all depends on what kind of outside pass rush we get. If we get 18-20 sacks out of the OLBs, top 5 is certainly attainable.
