Not salty about being left off this list, but we will be on the list after the season.

So Alabama lost 7/11 starters (I know Jackson was hurt the 2nd half of the season) on defense

And probably won't be far and away the best defense in college football in 2017. But will still be one of the best.

We hear all the time in recruiting that Alabama is too deep for a kid to go there. But when these pre-season lists come out it's all of a sudden about who's left, not what depth is still on the roster.

... and we were what, #2 in total defense? So yea, if you said Alabama would fall to say #10 or even #15 in a list, I could believe it's possible.

but they didn't, they moved up, which is kind of the point...you made the argument, "well LSU lost some guys on defense, " so I responded with "well Alabama lost over half their starters" , and now you're "doubling down" on stupid. LSU reloads as much as anyone on the defensive side of the ball.

And this same publication rated LSU at #23 on offense. Do you find that credible, because I don't. LSu finished 60th in ypg last season, but they're a top 25 offense now after losing Fournette, 2 WRs, 2 TEs, and their best offensive lineman?

Maybe just admit that BR rarely puts out any list that makes sense

What a bunch of dumbasses. They should know by now that just because LSU lost a few players on defense doesn't mean they are going to suck. LSU always just reloads and has a top tier defense every year. And now that Aranda is here that makes them sound really stupid. The man is a defensive genius and can make 2*s look like 5*s.

Okay, the super obvious question:
Where is Auburn's second team?

I'm not sure why he would make a "troll thread" just to make a thread a few minutes later that had LSU as a top 25 offensive team next year.

Perhaps he dislikes LSU. That would be my guess.

It's a junior and senior laden sec defense in year 2 under a defensive head coach with a ton of top ranked freshman and sophomore talent to lean on.

Offense (specifically the OL and receivers) are UGAs biggest issue heading into the season. Defense has every reason to be expected to be top flight

So they're projecting that these teams will have a better defense than LSU?

I'm not saying you'll have a bad Defense. I'm saying that I have a hard time seeing it be a #4 overall defense.
